New Year’s 2013 Blog Hop
Happy New Year, everyone! I hope it’s already off to a great start for you!
Thank you for dropping by and welcome to my official website/blog and my first post of 2013. This year is shaping up to be a HUGE year for me on personal and professional levels.
On the personal level, this summer I’ll be marrying my wonderful, gorgeous fiancée—best-selling, critically-acclaimed paranormal author Desirée Lee (http://www.desireelee.com). Desirée and I are also expecting the birth of our first child this summer, as well.
On the professional level, there are several projects that Desirée and I are involved with that are all coming to fruition. Please keep checking back here for more information on those. There are a LOT of surprises in store for 2013, including, soon, the release of my ninth book. This will be my first novella. It’s titled “Quagmire Fen” and is being released by Umbral Press. Since I just told you about that one, it doesn’t really qualify as a surprise anymore, does it? Oh well. There are plenty of other things in store for this year that I won’t spill the beans about just yet.
One thing I truly hope to see in 2013 is a strong response from the film producer who has expressed interest in my eighth novel, “Quintana Roo, Yucatan”. That book was released on November 10, 2012. Already a film producer has expressed interest in a movie adaptation. The book was also nominated for the Paranormal Romance Guild’s 2012 Reviewers’ Choice Awards for the action/adventure category. While it didn’t win the award, it held the second-place spot steadily throughout the voting.
