Patterson/Gimlin Sasquatch Footage

How many of you have seen the new stabilized analysis of the famous Patterson/Gimlin sasquatch film footage? It’s long been accepted that the creature in the film footage is a female. Some researchers have hypothesized for years that she had a young one somewhere nearby. A new stabilized analysis done on the film might have spotted the baby. It may have been recorded in the video along with its mother by Roger Patterson back in 1967, and only just spotted. See the new analysis right here.

This news comes as Desirée Lee and I are getting nearer to the release of our co-authored sasquatch novel “Hidden Tribe“. It’s a happy coincidence for us, but we’ll certainly take the increased interest in all things sasquatch!

“Hidden Tribe”

Sasquatch—they live peacefully in the forests, and woodlands. They want little, or nothing, to do with humans, and our civilization. As a whole, sasquatch are tranquil, quiet beings who live harmoniously with nature, and avoid us.
But what happens when humans refuse to return the favor?
Researcher Alexia Hollander is about to find out. When she ventures into the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, seeking evidence of the elusive species, things quickly get out of hand. Another researcher deliberately gets in Alexia’s way. Campers, and hunters bumble in, adding their own disruptive presence to the quiet work that Alexia wants to perform.
With their home territory invaded by humans, a mated pair of sasquatch keep the intruders under close surveillance. They aren’t happy about the presence of the trespassers, and want them gone. Just how far will these normally restrained beings go to protect their family, and themselves? Alexia, and her unwanted companions are about to find out!

Real Life Paranormal

From time to time I share accounts on this blog/website of real life paranormal happenings or news. Some of those, especially those dealing with the topic of vampires, continue to receive a good deal of traffic even as older posts. So, I plan to keep sharing such things here once in a while. But, should I keep up the same level of such that I do now? Or should I share more things of that nature here? Which would you all prefer to see?

Filling In Blanks

Several times recently I’ve talked here on this website/blog about difficulties I’ve been having with one of my works-in-progress. That project being, of course, my urban fantasy novella “Ravenesque: Un-Familiar”. Even though I’ve set that aside, for the moment, in favor of devoting my writing time to other projects, I’m still working on that book mentally. And I’ve had a bit of a breakthrough.

There’s a character that I had planned to bring to bring in later in the series. I had thought maybe about the third book in the series, or so. But, it’s occurred to me that he could be worked into a scene in this first book quite easily. Even if he doesn’t take on the larger role I have planned for him until a book or two later, bringing him into the first one should add more depth and layers to this first installment. I like the new ideas for doing so, and may well run with them. That being the case, I might be hopping back over to “Ravenesque: Un-Familiar” after I wrap up what I’m currently working on – the outline for the second Warder novella, “Warder: Sometimes Magick Just Isn’t Enough”.

LinkedIn Problem

As you all know, I use LinkedIn. However, it’s been a while since I’ve been able to log into my account on that site. Hopefully I’ll have that problem worked out soon. For anyone waiting to hear back from me via LinkedIn, I apologize for the delay in replying.

Major New Record

Desirée Lee and I would like to thank each and every one of you who are reading our hit werewolf webcomic, “MoonWraith“. We hit a major new traffic record on it yesterday. We were blown away by the number of hits! Our thanks to you all for the continued amazing support of this project!

For those who aren’t familiar with “MoonWraith”, here’s what it’s all about:

“MoonWraith” is a mature-readers horror/action/adventure webcomic set in medieval Europe.

Werewolves, descendants of an original pack created centuries ago by a corrupt sorcerer, have overrun the land. The king ordered the construction of a fortress above an ancient silver mine where scholars and historians believe the talisman used by the sorcerer to create the werewolves is hidden away. This talisman is the MoonWraith.

The king’s men strive to find the MoonWraith in the hopes of using the very thing that created the werewolves to destroy them. The werewolves struggle to keep the MoonWraith from being found, suspecting that it is capable of eradicating their species in one fell swoop.

Why Do I Write?

As a bestselling author, one question I find myself being asked often is why I write. Honestly, it’s the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do for a career, really. I don’t remember what first sparked the need to put pen to paper as a child. But writing is the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do. It’s not just what I do. Being a writer is who, and what, I am. At one point in time, I wanted to help tell stories by getting into movie special effects. At that time, I was especially interested in animatronics. Those, sadly, have been all but replaced by CGI by now. Even then, though, I felt then need to write far more so than the need to learn to create movie-grade animatronics.

In short, I don’t know just why writing called to me the way it did – and still does. But being s writer is at the core of who I am. And it has been for most of my life. Without it, I literary wouldn’t by the person I am.

Please Leave Reviews

One of the biggest ways for a fan/reader to help an author is to leave a review of a book you’ve read. The more reviews a book has, the more likely it is to sell more copies.

Find my own currently available books at the below links. I’m using only the Amazon URLs here for the sake of simplicity. They can be found via other retails, too.

1st Annual Bigfoot Conference Reminder

The 1st Annual Bigfoot Conference is being held in 2016 in Kennewick, Washington. It is scheduled to run from September 2nd – 4th. Friends of ours – my wife and myself – are the driving force behind this event. They’ve already confirmed some very big names in the sasquatch research community to attend, as seen on the above flier.

My wife and I hope to be able to attend. But, having a 2-years-old – she’ll be 3-years-old by the time of this event – might put a crimp in that. It’s wait and see on whether or not we’ll be able to be there. Still, we hope to attend.

Regardless, if you’re at all interested in the topic of sasquatch, try and make it to the conference. It’s sure to be memorable event given everyone scheduled to be there. As our friends are still hard at work on this, I’m sure the guest list will be even more impressive by the time of the conference kicks off the better part of a year from now!
