Copywriting

Hello, all!

As you know, I’m very happily married. I’m also the father of an amazing 5-year-old daughter. So, the need for money is ever-present. Despite having the status of a bestselling, award-winning author, book royalties alone aren’t enough to pay the bills.

So, who would like to hire said award-winning, bestselling author to do copywriting work for them? If so, please get in touch with me via the “Contact” page of my website. Cost will depend upon the size of the job. I’ve written text for several business websites in the past, so I’m not wholly without experience with work like this.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Bookstores?

Hidden_Tribe_Cover

We’re in the process of contacting indie author friendly bookstores all over the USA, and Canada, asking them to stock our latest release, “Hidden Tribe“. If you own a bookstore, I’m asking you now to, please, help us out by getting a copy or two of “Hidden Tribe” on your shelves. If you know someone who owns, or works at a bookstore, please ask them to stock “Hidden Tribe” for us. Every store that stocks even a single copy is doing us a huge favor by making the book that much more visible to the public.

Here’s an excerpt from a pre-publication review of the book by a fortean researcher:

“The story was different as it showed the perspective of the creatures themselves and depicted the very real conflict of researchers and individuals in the field who hold different views and values on whether the creature should be killed or not. I appreciate a different kind of storyline and approach to the subject and feel that the writers of the story did a wonderful job making the reader enthralled better educated on the subject at hand and anticipating what is on the next page throughout the read.

I recommend this novel to anyone who likes a good tale and has an interest in the subject of Bigfoot. Keep up the great work Scott and Desiree and thank you both for depicting these mysterious creatures in a more serious and humanistic way. I can’t wait to see what you write next!”

Sasquatch—they live peacefully in the forests, and woodlands. They want little, or nothing, to do with humans, and our civilization. As a whole, sasquatch are tranquil, quiet beings who live harmoniously with nature, and avoid us.

But what happens when humans refuse to return the favor?

Researcher Alexia Hollander is about to find out. When she ventures into the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, seeking evidence of the elusive species, things quickly get out of hand. Another researcher deliberately gets in Alexia’s way. Campers, and hunters bumble in, adding their own disruptive presence to the quiet work that Alexia wants to perform.

With their home territory invaded by humans, a mated pair of sasquatch keep the intruders under close surveillance. They aren’t happy about the presence of the trespassers, and want them gone. Just how far will these normally restrained beings go to protect their family, and themselves? Alexia, and her unwanted companions are about to find out!

We’re Still Looking For Advance Reviews

Hidden_Tribe_Cover

As you all know, my wife (known to you all as the bestselling, award-winning, critically-acclaimed author Desirée Lee) and I have a new book coming out before too long. We’ve coauthored it; it’s been a work in progress for a while, but is nearly ready. The book is titled “Hidden Tribe”. It deals with sasquatch, and is told from the point of view of two sasquatch; a mated pair.

However, before “Hidden Tribe” is released, we’re trying to gather a few advance reviews from researchers, and experts on the subject matter of sasquatch. If you are a researcher, or expert on the topic, and would like the chance to do an advance review of “Hidden Tribe”, please get in touch with Umbral Press. A PDF of the manuscript can be sent out for review very easily.

Please Do

Quintana_Roo_Yucatan_Cover

Before, I’ve been asked by models or photographers about using one of my books in a photo-shoot as a prop. By all means, please do. The only thing I ask is that you share the photos in which my book(s) appear.

Of my books that are currently available, I would suggest that the best one to use for such purposes is “Quintana Roo, Yucatan“. The paperback edition is large – 564-pages – and the book is an award-winning bestseller. The latter point would make it better known to anyone seeing the photo(s) in which the book appeared – if that matters to you for photographic reasons.
