Manic Readers

Book

All of you are probably familiar with the book review site Manic Readers. Three of my works – “Quintana Roo, Yucatan” (my bestseller), “Quagmire Fen“, and “Hidden Tribe” (coauthored with my wife Desirée Lee) are on that site. If you’re a Manic Readers member, please check out those projects for us, and review them. For some reason, reviews are hard to gather, and authors need all of them that we can gather!

#FridayReads

#FridayReads is currently trending on Twitter. So, since I have nothing in particular in mind to post here today, I thought I’d might as well take advantage of the trend to remind everyone of my book titles that are still currently available:

Winter’s Rite

Winters Rite Cover_02

In a world where humans do not exist, dark magick has been used to bring an early winter down upon the land. It falls to a young Water Nix named Avari to seek out the source of this magick and put a stop to it. As his journey progresses, he encounters a myriad of other beings, some friends, some not.

Well Wishes

When the Princess of the Elven kingdom is taken by a Well Spirit, the Elven king enlists the aid of Avari, the heroic Water Nix who was instrumental in the fall of Veemox the Ur’hunglav only months before. After his attempt to free the Princess results in Fyrnn being taken by the same Spirit, along with the Princess’s best friend, Avari is off on an ocean voyage to a distant, near-mythical island with a reputation from which it earned its name – the Island of Death. Once there, he must confront the terrible creatures which haunt the island in order to bargain with the most powerful Well Spirit of them all to gain the freedom of the captive Elf women. But time is running out for the enslaved Elves. Will Avari make it in time?

Gauntlet

Quagmire Fen

Bog skulks are small, mysterious creatures with vicious teeth and claws. They turned up in Quagmire Fen some time ago. No one seems to know what they are or where they came from.

Spencer Foster is a young man who has lived his entire life in the poor backwater of Quagmire Fen. He despises the swamp, and wants only to leave and start a new life in the city with his girlfriend. But his callous drunkard of a father has other ideas.

Very soon, Spencer’s life is irrevocably changed. His destiny is now linked to the bog skulks and Quagmire Fen.

What are the bog skulks? Where did they come from? What is the connection between Spencer Foster and the odd beings he’s given so little thought to?

Please Leave Reviews

One of the biggest ways for a fan/reader to help an author is to leave a review of a book you’ve read. The more reviews a book has, the more likely it is to sell more copies.

Find my own currently available books at the below links. I’m using only the Amazon URLs here for the sake of simplicity. They can be found via other retails, too.

Please Do

Quintana_Roo_Yucatan_Cover

Before, I’ve been asked by models or photographers about using one of my books in a photo-shoot as a prop. By all means, please do. The only thing I ask is that you share the photos in which my book(s) appear.

Of my books that are currently available, I would suggest that the best one to use for such purposes is “Quintana Roo, Yucatan“. The paperback edition is large – 564-pages – and the book is an award-winning bestseller. The latter point would make it better known to anyone seeing the photo(s) in which the book appeared – if that matters to you for photographic reasons.

Models And Photographs

In the past, I have been approached by photographers and photography models about doing photo shoots in which one or more of my books is used as a prop. I love that idea! So, if anyone reading this is a photographer – amateur or otherwise – or a photography model – again, amateur or otherwise – and would like to use one of more of my books as a prop in the shoot, please do so. All I ask in such a case is that you send me copies of any photos in which my book(s) appear so that I can share them on my website and blog. Consider it a form of mutual promotion.

For those of you who might not have seen all of my book covers, here they are, in order of publication for those still available. As I’ve mentioned a couple of times recently, four of my books are no longer available. Hopefully they will again eventually.

I’ll even take the time for a bit of blatant sales promo, and turn each image into a link to that book’s listing on Amazon.com in this post to make it easy for anyone who would care to buy a copy – for use in photography shoots, or just to read.

Those are the current paperbacks. Since I’m posting sales links here in this post, too, I’ll also include “Quagmire Fen”. It’s only available in e-book. So, you won’t be able to photograph, or pose, with a paperback in this case. Still, if someone wanted to pose with, or photograph, the cover image on the screen…

That’s it – all of my currently available books. Have fun with them, and enjoy!
