Update – “Hero Life”

It’s been a while since I mentioned the “Hero Life” project here. That’s the paranormal superhero action/adventure/drama that I’m co-writing. We have a script for “Hero Life” as a feature film. Due to comments made from several potential directors approached with the project – things akin to “Wow! This ought to be a TV series!” – a pilot script for a “Hero Life” TV series is still being written. My co-writer on this project has been hard at work on his part of that script for a little while now. Hopefully that’ll be wrapped up in the near future.

So, anyone interested in “Hero Life” now has their choice of the project as a feature-length film, or a TV pilot. Any potential directors, or producers, please get in touch with me via the “Contact” page on my website. I’ll put you in touch with my co-writer on “Hero Life”, too.

A New “Hero Life” Update

Not too long ago, I made several mentions on this blog/website regarding a feature-length film I am co-writing. The title of the project is “Hero Life”. It’s a paranormal superhero story.

Well, as the project is being shopped around to potential producers, several have replied with some variation of, “Wow. This would be a great TV series!” So, we’re exploring that option for “Hero Life”, too. We’re open to selling it as either – a feature film, or a TV series. We have a draft of a pilot for the series, but are still refining it. Still, any producers who are looking for a paranormal superhero story – be it as an on-going TV series, or a feature film – please get in touch. I’ll put you in touch with my co-writer on “Hero Life”. He’s the one handling the sales end of this project. “Hero Life” is also his core idea. My part on this project has been helping to flesh things out, and co-write the material. You can reach me easily from the “Contact” page on my site.

“Hero Life”

For those of you who missed attending the recent 1st Annual Klamath Library ComicCon, you also missed hearing the little announcement about the new screenplay I’m co-writing. I’ve been pretty much mum on that topic. I broke that silence at the ComicCon. And I’ve deliberately made everyone else wait a few days before posting this here. Why? So the rest of you who are able to do so will, maybe, turn out at future signings I appear at to avoid missing announcements I make at them! Let this be a lesson to you all!

I’m still not saying much, but will post here what I was saying at the ComicCon recently:

1) The new movie is titled “Hero Life”.

2) “Hero Life” is a feature-length script.

3) It’s meant as a live-action film.

4) The main plot revolves around a paranormal superhero.

See? I’ve said before that the new film project is something my fans and readers would expect me to be working on. For those of you who don’t know enough about me and my work, please let me explain that. A lot of my work falls into the paranormal, or supernatural genres. And I’m a huge comic book fan.

Please keep watching this site and blog. I’ll say more about “Hero Life” as I can. Much as I want to blab everything now, I won’t. I don’t want to say too much too soon. The script is expected, contractually, to be wrapped up by the end of next month. As of the writing of this post, I’m waiting to hear from my co-writer on this project. If the current batch of pages that I’ve written meets with his satisfaction, we’re just over sixty pages into the script at this point – over halfway through it.
