38,000+ hits on the “MoonWraith” webcomic! Desirée Lee and I thank you all for your continued support! As you know, “MoonWraith” has been optioned as a film. The support of our fans is a big part of why. Again, our thanks to you all!

Help Needed

“Confluence”, the new comic book project by Desirée Lee and myself, has hit a bit of a snag. We still want to do both print and e-editions of each issue. However, the Print on Demand (POD) publisher we had planned on using is going to make the prints cost prohibitive. We are trying to avoid taking money from our own pockets to cover the expenses of print runs, and distribution. Which means we’re seeking a new POD alternative. Can anyone share any POD suggestions to us for this?

Quick—Grab Them!

Predators or Prey Print Front Cover_Small

There are still a couple copies of the print edition of “Predators or Prey?”, the first book in my Wendy Markland series, left in Astral Games—737 Main Street, Klamath Falls, Oregon. As I have parted ways with DCL Publications, there will be no more prints of this edition made—ever. That makes this paperback a collectable, especially with “Wendy Markland: Chronicles Nocturnum” in the works. Grab them before they’re gone!

Nearly Done

Edits on the first issue of “Confluence”—the new on-going comic book series by Desirée Lee and myself—have just wrapped up. Once the Issue #1 cover is done, this issue is in the can!

Work will be starting very shortly on Issue #2. Our plan is to publish “Confluence” bi-monthly. Doing so will allow us time to work on other projects that we have going on—co-authored, and individually written. We’re in the midst of several other things in addition to “Confluence”, of course, and those projects span fiction, non-fiction, literature, comic books, and film.

Keep watching this blog/site for information on the ad space in “Confluence”. We hope to have a pricing list for that worked out, and posted soon.

“Confluence” will unlike anything you’ve ever encountered before. We’re pretty sure some of the things in it will be blowing some minds!

Sasquatch Books

Sasquatch

While the sasquatch novel manuscript has been set aside—again—temporarily, I’m still working on it mentally. I’m also still giving thought to writing a non-fiction sasquatch book. To that end, I’m asking that anyone reading this who has ever had a sighting, or other encounter, with a sasquatch please send those accounts to me. If you know anyone who has had such a sighting, please put them in touch with me. Those of you who have already done so, thank you very much.

Breaking News

Quintana_Roo_Yucatan_Cover

My previous publisher—DCL Publications—and I have cordially parted ways. Due to this parting, anything of mine that had been published by DCL is no longer available. This means that “Predators or Prey?”, “Necromancer”, “Vindicated”, “Shadows Castes: Book 1 – Aspeccts”, and the DCL-published editions of “Winter’s Rite”, “Well Wishes”, and “Gauntlet” are no longer for sale.

Still available are my award-winning bestseller, “Quintana Roo, Yucatan”, and “Quagmire Fen”—both published by Umbral Press—and the original self-published versions of “Winter’s Rite”, “Well Wishes”, and “Gauntlet”.

Please stay tuned for details, as I very much want to make the Wendy Markland novels, and “Shadow Castes” trilogy available to fans again ASAP.

Comic Book Lettering

Comic book projects are taking over more and more of my work. I use a  program called Comic Life to assemble the pages, and to letter them. I’m open to taking on lettering projects for other people’s comic book projects, too. If you want samples of what Comic Life can do, check out the webcomic “MoonWraith”, that Desirée Lee and I have running—keeping in mind that “MoonWraith” has been optioned as a movie, too—www.MoonWraith.com.

Anyone interested in hiring me to letter your comic book, or graphic novel projects, please contact me with information. I’m sure we can work out the details!

“Purple Paparazzi Penguins From Pluto”

Desirée Lee and I have a 5-month-old daughter. I keep thinking more and more about children’s literature. Being a writer, I keep pondering what it would be like to write for very young children. Earlier this morning, the title “Purple Paparazzi Penguins From Pluto” just popped into my mind. Should I try to write the story? What do you all think?

Bookworm Bags

Desirée and I are members of an author promotion group called “Bookworm Bags”. Basically, authors on the group mail promo items to each other. That promo is put into “goodie bags” for giveaway. These bags are given out by everyone on the group. The more authors that partake in the group, the more each participating author’s promo items are handed out to potential readers. Any authors interested in joining the Bookworm Bags, please check out the site: http://bookwormbags.awesomewritersmuse.com/
